Continuously delivered cloud service — SAP publishes no single end-of-maintenance date, so there is no countdown for the line as a whole.
SAP Build Work Zone is SAP's cloud digital-workplace service on SAP Business Technology Platform — the central entry point where users reach SAP Fiori apps, third-party applications, content and (in the advanced edition) collaborative workspaces from one place. It ships in two editions with distinct heritage: the standard edition is the evolution of the former SAP Launchpad service, while the advanced edition is the former SAP Work Zone; both were renamed into the SAP Build family at SAP TechEd in November 2022.
As a continuously delivered cloud service it follows a rolling-release model: SAP updates it on a regular cadence and publishes no single end-of-maintenance date, so there is no countdown clock for the line as a whole. Individual data-center releases may carry their own short windows, but customers are kept current automatically rather than facing a version cliff.
As the go-forward digital-workplace offering it is a destination rather than a product with a successor. It is SAP's documented transition target for SAP Enterprise Portal 7.5 (SAP KBA 3365091), and the cloud continuation of the launchpad experience that the on-premise SAP Fiori front-end server provides today.
Organisations still running employee or partner portals on SAP Enterprise Portal — which shares the Business Suite 7 maintenance deadlines — are the primary audience, along with UX teams consolidating scattered Fiori launchpads into a single cloud entry point. As SaaS it carries no end-of-maintenance clock of its own.
