Continuously delivered cloud service — SAP publishes no single end-of-maintenance date, so there is no countdown for the line as a whole.
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is SAP's cloud service for business intelligence, enterprise planning and predictive analytics in a single tool, and SAP's strategic direction for analytics and for planning scenarios moving off BPC.
It first shipped around 2015. As a continuously delivered cloud service it follows a rolling-release model: SAP updates it on a regular cadence and publishes no single end-of-maintenance date, so there is no countdown clock for the line as a whole. Individual data-center releases may carry their own short windows, but customers are kept current automatically rather than facing a version cliff.
As a go-forward cloud product it is itself the target; BusinessObjects and BPC customers adopt it as the strategic successor for cloud BI and planning respectively, often alongside SAP Datasphere for the data layer.
Analytics and FP&A teams planning their cloud BI and planning strategy are the audience; SAC is continuously updated and carries no maintenance deadline, unlike the on-premise tools it succeeds.
