Overview

SAP Lumira was SAP's HANA-era self-service business-intelligence and dashboarding tool (launched 2012 as SAP Visual Intelligence). Lumira 2.0 combined Lumira Discovery and Lumira Designer, the latter succeeding SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio.

SAP support for Lumira 2.0 ran through 2024, after which it is out of mainstream maintenance.

Its capabilities were folded into SAP Analytics Cloud — Lumira Discovery superseded by SAC stories and Lumira Designer by SAC analytics designer — making SAC the go-forward tool for both self-service and enterprise dashboards.
