Continuously delivered cloud service — SAP publishes no single end-of-maintenance date, so there is no countdown for the line as a whole.
SAP Global Trade Services, edition for SAP HANA (commonly GTS E4H) is the current generation of SAP's international-trade and customs-compliance application and the designated successor to SAP GTS 11.0. Rebuilt natively on SAP HANA with an SAP Fiori user experience, it carries the same mission-critical scope — export and import compliance, sanctioned-party screening, customs management and trade-preference handling — and can run standalone or co-deployed with SAP S/4HANA. It is delivered as dated releases, beginning with edition 2020 and followed by edition 2023 (generally available around June 2023), with further releases planned.
Maintenance runs per release rather than for the line as a whole: the first release, E4H 2020, has its own end of maintenance (SAP KBA 3443432), and each edition's window should be confirmed in the SAP Product Availability Matrix. New legal and regulatory changes — such as the ongoing EU Union Customs Code implementations — are delivered to E4H rather than back-ported to GTS 11.0.
As the go-forward trade-compliance platform, E4H is the destination for GTS 11.0 conversions, which follow a defined upgrade path; staying current afterwards means periodic release upgrades within the E4H line.
Trade-compliance and logistics IT teams are the audience — especially the many organisations whose GTS 11.0 systems fell into customer-specific maintenance on 1 January 2026 and now depend on a conversion to E4H to regain full legal-change support.
