Continuously delivered cloud service — SAP publishes no single end-of-maintenance date, so there is no countdown for the line as a whole.
SAP Customer Experience (SAP CX) is SAP's cloud front-office portfolio — Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing/Emarsys, Commerce Cloud and Customer Data Cloud — and the strategic successor to on-premise SAP CRM.
It was launched in June 2018 as SAP C/4HANA (bundling the Hybris, Gigya and CallidusCloud acquisitions) and the C/4HANA name was dropped around 2019–2020 in favour of "SAP CX"; the products themselves continue.
For CRM 7.0 customers the path forward is either SAP CX in the cloud or customer-management scenarios embedded in SAP S/4HANA; both are re-implementations rather than upgrades.
CX, CRM and sales/service leaders evaluating a move off SAP CRM are the audience; as SaaS the suite is continuously updated with no single end-of-life clock.
