Overview

SAP Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC) was SAP's first cloud data-warehouse service, offering modelling, data integration and a business layer on SAP BTP before being renamed and broadened into SAP Datasphere.

It first shipped around 2019. It was rebranded on 8 March 2023 (Transitioned to SAP Datasphere).

It transitioned to SAP Datasphere, which is the direct continuation; existing tenants were carried over automatically rather than migrated to a separate product.

Teams that adopted DWC early, or who see the name in older material, should simply read it as today's SAP Datasphere; there is no separate end-of-life action beyond recognising the rebrand.
