SAP Cloud ALM

Continuously delivered cloud service — SAP publishes no single end-of-maintenance date, so there is no countdown for the line as a whole.

SolMan 7.2Cloud ALM

Overview

SAP Cloud ALM is SAP's cloud-native application-lifecycle-management platform and the strategic successor to SAP Solution Manager, covering implementation, operations, business-process monitoring and testing across SAP's cloud and hybrid estate.

It is delivered as a continuously updated SaaS service (and is included with RISE with SAP), so it has no single end-of-maintenance date.

Solution Manager 7.2 customers move here as SAP winds down SolMan after 2027; because Cloud ALM does not yet match every SolMan capability (for example, deep custom-code analysis and some test automation), teams map the scenarios they depend on and transition them deliberately.

Basis, ALM and IT-operations teams planning life after Solution Manager are the audience.

Frequently asked questions

Does SAP Cloud ALM have an end-of-life or end-of-maintenance date?
SAP Cloud ALM is a continuously delivered (rolling-release) service. SAP keeps it current on a regular cadence and publishes no single end-of-maintenance date, so there is no countdown for the line as a whole. Individual releases may carry their own short windows, but customers are kept current automatically rather than facing a version cliff.
Where do these SAP Cloud ALM dates come from, and how current are they?
These dates are compiled from SAP's published sources (SAP — product & maintenance information). EOLHQ is an independent reference — always confirm against the official SAP Product Availability Matrix and your support contract before making decisions.
